Tindo Solar was founded in 2010 as Australia’s only solar panel manufacturer. Since its inception, Tindo has been producing solar solutions designed specifically for Australia’s environmental conditions. The company is headquartered in Adelaide and carries out daily testing of its panels at the Desert Knowledge Testing Centre in Alice Springs.

Expanding Horizons: The Tindo Solar Gigafactory

Tindo Solar is set to establish a Gigafactory that will significantly expand its production capabilities. The company plans for it to be a state-of-the-art facility that revolutionises the solar industry in Australia. The goal is to increase the availability of locally manufactured solar panels and drive down costs for consumers. 

• Increased Production Capacity: The Gigafactory will enable Tindo to produce 7,000 solar panels daily, meeting the growing demand for renewable energy solutions across the country.
• Boosting the Australian Economy: By scaling up production, Tindo Solar will create numerous jobs and stimulate economic growth. It is set to directly employ roughly 250 persons while providing hundreds more jobs in the supply chain.
